DAKAR 2012: Back home




















Dear friends,
Dakar Rally 2012 is over and after coming back home, we are happy about the results obtained by our Team. We would like to thank the hospitality received by the citizens from the 3 countries, ARGENTINA, CHILE and PERU. Thanks for your warmful support.

These are the sportive results:

In BIKE class, we have contributed to the victory of LAIA SANZ in Women’s class.:

  1. #30 Marc Guasch (GasGas): retirement stage 8
  2. #45 Laia Sanz (GasGas): 1st Women’s class/39th overall
  3. #78 Rosa Romero (KTM): retirement stage 3
  4. #85 Pedro Peñate (KTM): 80th overall

In CAR class, our 2 bolivian cars had to retire:

  1. #447 Luis Barbery/Paco Queralt: retirement stage 7
  2. #468 Marco Bulacia/Oscar Montaño: retirement stage 5

In TRUCK class, very good performance from the argentinean crew (MDZ Dakar) and bad news for our more experimented driver, Jordi Juvanteny, who had to retire due to mechanical problems in his MAN 6x6:

  1. #522 Juvanteny/Criado/Roman: retirement stage 9
  2. #524 Herrero/Paisan: 45th overall
  3. #532 Del Zotto/Memi/Del Zotto: 25th overall and 2nd in T4.1
  4. #542 Rickler/Guintoli: 52th overall
  5. #550 Lacourt/Pacquelet/Debeugny: 51th overall
  6. #565 Martin/Clos: 59th overall
  7. #576 Aguirregaviria/Comallonga: 53th overall
